Dunmanway Town Soccer Club find their Scoring Touch!
Town found their goal scoring touch tonight away to Castletown Celtic winning 4-1 in their West Cork League game.
Will Hennigan got the opening goal after a lightning start from Town that saw them create plenty of openings but not converting them.
Castletown got their goal before half time but that didn't dampen Town attitude and desire.
Keith White showed his desire to get a goal by running into Steven O'Donovan's pass to put Town ahead after 70mins. Town never looked back and pushed on with Conor Vassallo passing the ball past the Castletown keeper for 3-1 15 mins later.
As Castletown tired, Sam Foley came on and ran hard at the defense and got the final goal when he ran onto a pass from Man of the match Gavin Dullea.
Next up for Town sees Clonakilty Soccer Club travel to The Meadows. After two thrillers already this season, we will hope for the same on Sunday afternoon.
